  1. Spring Clean-up Week

    April 22, 2019 - April 26, 2019

    Residents of single-family homes may dispose of multiple bulk items during Monday, April 22 through Friday, April 26. Leave unwanted household items (excluding electronics and hazardous materials) at the curb on your regularly scheduled waste pick-up day. Public Works chipping crews will be following Homewood Disposal pickup schedule. Please leave your branches at the curb by 7 AM on your pickup day. Branches must be less than four inches in diameter and four feet in length, and stacked in piles no higher than 3 feet tall. Larger branches must be cut into logs no longer than 24 inches and stacked in a separate pile at the curb. Stumps, root balls and roots must be free of attached dirt.

  2. Oak Forest Senior Commission Luncheon

    Monthly senior luncheon brought to you by the Oak Forest Senior Commission. Join us the fourth Thursday of the month at the Senior Center (Oak Forest Community Center) 15501 S. Kilpatrick Avenue with exciting entertainers at every event. Doors open at 10 AM. Entertainment begins at 11 AM. Lunch is at 12 noon. After lunch, stay for free cash bingo at 12:45 PM. Tickets are available for $5.00 at City Hall (15540 S. Central; 708-687-4050) or can be purchased at the door on the day of the event. Hope to see you there!

  4. Severe Weather Spotter Training

    April 26, 2019, 7:15 PM @ City Hall Council Chambers

    The National Weather Service Basic Spotter training will be conducted at the Oak Forest City Hall, 15440 Central Ave, Oak Forest, IL 60452 on Friday April 26, 2019 at 7:15 PM. If the Main entrance is locked, please enter via the Police Department entrance and turn right inside the building to find the Chamber Hall (just past the gate).   5. City Hall Clerk's Office - OPEN (Saturday Hours)

    City Hall Clerk's Office is OPEN 9:00 AM - NOON the last Saturday of the month (except the month of June). All payments can be dropped in the Night Depository Mail slot to the right of the City Hall main entrance after hours.
