On May 9 at approximately 10:33 a.m., Oak Forest Communications received a call from a person that said they had a bomb at Oak Forest High School. School staff was alerted of the threat and implemented their protocols to ensure the safety of the students.
While the high school was following its safety plan, the Oak Forest Police Department, through its investigation, located the juvenile(s) that placed the call and ensured that there was no active threat to the school. This matter is under investigation at this time.
