On Wednesday, January 31 at 2:58 a.m., Oak Forest Police responded to the 15700 block of Lake Drive for a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, police officers located a 38-year-old, male victim in the entry hall of an apartment building. The victim sustained several gunshot wounds. Oak Forest police units provided life-saving measures to the victim until Oak Forest Fire Department personnel arrived to transport him to an area hospital. The victim is currently in serious but stable condition.
