The Village of Oak Lawn Regional Water System will begin installation of a 36" water transmission main in Oak Forest the week of September 9. The water transmission main will be installed via the open cut method. Construction will begin near the intersection of 157th Place and Oak Park Avenue and heading west and north (see map below). The work is anticipated to last through the end of the year.
