[ARCHIVED] Join us for a Jolly Jamboree

Jolly Jamboree 2024

Join the City of Oak Forest for a JOLLY JAMBOREon Saturday, December 7 from 10 a.m. to noon at City Hall. Oh, what fun you will have as you walk from station to station to enjoy some holiday cheer with friends, family and neighbors.

INSIDE CITY HALL Tell Santa Claus what's on your wish list and let Blink of an Eye Photography capture that special holiday moment. There will be two photo packages to choose from – 4x6 with a paper frame for $10 and wooden frame for $20 – (cash or credit) and photos will be printed on site. You can also have your portrait done by local caricature artist Mark Odewald.

INSIDE THE FIRE STATION Sing along with DJ Loren of Fun, Fun, Fun DJs to all of your favorite holiday songs as you decorate cookies (while supplies last), visit with Marshall from Paw Patrol, or have your face painted.  We also will announce the trim-a-tree contest winners at 10:30 a.m.

OUTSIDE Soar down the Giant Inflatable Slide before grabbing some holiday sips at the Emerald Cup Coffee trailer – warm up with the best specialty coffee, hot chocolate and other seasonal drinks.

PARKING For safety reasons, there will be no parking available in the City Hall lot during the event.  However, limited handicap spaces will be available in front of City Hall.  You must have a handicap placard or license plate to park in this designated area.  All other attendees are asked to park legally on side streets near City Hall.  If you need to visit the police station during event hours, please park on the side street and walk over or call 708-687-1376 (non-emergency number) to speak to an officer.

TRIM-A-TREE Contest winners will be announced at the Jolly Jamboree at 10:30 a.m. in the fire house. Trees will remain on display through the new year!
