City of Oak Forest launches second year of All Good Things Close to Home campaign

The City of Oak Forest once again is bringing its All Good Things Close to Home message to the Chicago Transit Authority’s (CTA) bus and rail system.  The simple yet eye-catching posters and digital platform displays are designed to capture the interest of workers and employers in Chicago’s Loop as well as families traveling downtown.  The ads geared toward potential future home shoppers focus on recreation and transportation and encourage readers to visit LivingOakForest.com.

Move With Purpose Two Sheet

The sixth-month campaign, which began February 6, includes platform posters, digital platform displays, and interior rail and bus cards with themes such as Move with Purpose, Tame Your Commute and A Place to Grow.  In May, the city will roll out similar ads on the sides of select CTA buses.

The ad campaign with the CTA is part of a comprehensive three-year marketing plan, which also includes ads at Metra’s LaSalle Street Station, targeted mobile ads to Metra commuters, and digital billboards on I-80 and I-294, beginning in June.  In addition, the city will continue to drive interest to the Living Oak Forest website through social media, including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

The City of Oak Forest is a municipality in Illinois that is home to approximately 28,000 residents and 450 businesses. Oak Forest’s distinctive geographic location, cradled in forest preserves just 20 miles from the heart of the Chicago Loop, provides residents with a range of conveniences that enhance their overall quality of life.  Whether its access to regional amenities, downtown Chicago or simply friends next door, Oak Forest residents and families can justifiably boast the things they love best are “close to home.”
