On Sunday, July 20, at approximately 9:20 p.m., Oak Forest Police responded to the area of 5900 W. 147th Street for a report of a stabbing victim.
Upon arrival, officers located a 22-year-old male with multiple stab wounds. The victim was treated and transported to an area hospital by the Oak Forest Fire Department, where he is currently undergoing treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.
While on scene, officers were alerted to a possible offender, who was taken into custody and is currently being held pending charges.
