City Council recognizes Citizens Police Academy graduates 


At its April 26 meeting, the Oak Forest City Council recognized the first graduating class of the Oak Forest Police Department’s Citizens Police Academy.  Congratulations to the following residents who completed the 12-week program: Dennis Mitzner, William Lau, Lionel Castillo, George Michaels Jr., Daniel Clark, Conner Savant, Ruth Ensing, Thomas Ulloa, Craig Esposito, Gerald Zagrodnik, Miguel Guerrero, and Michelle Deschamps.

Building on the success of Opportunity Knocks – the city’s first public art project – the Street Art Commission is bringing its kaleidoscope of doors back to 159th and Cicero Avenue with a new twist.
