Last branch pick up of the year

Last Branch Pick Up of the Year

Public Works offers a monthly branch pickup service to residents to help encourage pruning and trimming on private property. The last branch pick up of the year by Public Works staff is by appointment only on Tuesday, November 28th.

Please note that this is intended to assist residents with tree trimming – it is not for tree removal services. If you are removing a tree you need to contact a private tree service for the removal and disposal of branches and logs. Branches will be picked up if the following conditions are met:
  • Branches must be stacked in the parkway (between the sidewalk and curb) with cut ends pointing to the curb. Do not block the sidewalk or street.
  • Branches can be no larger than six inches in diameter.
  • Only branches are included in this service. Lumber and other refuse are to be disposed of by the resident.
  • Appointments for brush pickup may be made by contacting the Public Works Department at 708-535-4090 to place your request.
