Rotary Club Trivia Night

Basic Recycling is Better Recycling

Nationwide residential recycling is more highly contaminated with non-recyclable garbage than ever before. Homewood Disposal Service has launched an education program called Basic Recycling is Better Recycling to help teach the community on proper ways to keep contaminants out of the recycling centers. View and download the Curbside Recycling guide to see a list of accepted and non-accepted items.

Visit mydisposal.com for more information and educational tools on how to be part of a successful community recycling program.

Quick Tips:

  • Please do not put recyclables in plastic grocery bags
  • Leave your bottle caps on empty bottles
  • Please gently rinse or wipe your containers
