Nicole Tormey was appointed City Clerk in March 2023. In this role, she attends City Council meetings, keeps records of its proceedings, and publishes all approved resolutions and ordinances. She also works closely with advisory boards and commissions to post their agendas and minutes.
Professionally, Nicole is a litigation paralegal for a law firm in Chicago. For 25 years, she has honed her skills in drafting pleadings and discovery, preparing for depositions, mediations and arbitrations, and assisting at trial.
A 17-year resident, Nicole has raised four children – Kayla, Rachel, John, and Dylan – in Oak Forest. While they were growing up, Nicole's children were active in local sports, including cheerleading, softball, flag football, Raiders football, and baseball. In fact, Nicole served on the Oak Forest Baseball Association Auxiliary Board for several years, and her youngest son, Dylan, currently plays for the Blue Demons.
Nicole is optimistic about Oak Forest’s future and is eager to serve her fellow residents.
