The Community Shredding and E-Recycling event is free and open to the public.  

For document shredding, please remove all paper clips, staples, and other bindings. 

TVs and monitors will be accepted, but there is a cost to recycle.  Smaller than 21 inches - $25; larger than 21 inches - $35. 

For electronic recycling, items that will NOT be accepted include:

• Audio/video cassettes
• Household batteries
• DVDs/CDs
• Fluorescent lights
• Household cleaners
• Hazardous waste
• Large speaker boxes
• Light bulbs
• Power tools
• Plastic bags/containers
• Smoke detectors
• Toner cartridges

For prescription take back, items that will NOT be accepted include:

• Needles and syringes
• Lancets and injection pens
• Liquids/medical waste
• Chemo/cytotoxic drugs
• Contaminated items (gloves, tubing, IV bags)
• Batteries
• Aerosol spray cans
• Trash/hazardous materials
• Illicit drugs (schedule I substances - marijuana, cocaine, heroin, and methamphetamine)
