Paul was elected 4th Ward Alderman in April 2017. He fully intends to continue working closely with the mayor, fellow aldermen, city staff, and residents to prove that all good things are indeed close to home in Oak Forest.
A six-year veteran of the United States Navy, Paul is a life member of Oak Forest VFW Post 4241. He serves as liaison from City Council to the Oak Forest Veterans Commission. He participates as much as possible in Oak Forest's Memorial Day service, annual parades and other civic functions. Paul was involved in bringing The Wall That Heals to Oak Forest in 2018, developing the Veterans Commission flag, and designing the flag repository on campus. Paul has lived in Oak Forest since 1999. He has been married to Kitty since 1991. Their two children have at various times been involved in Oak Forest baseball, softball, football, and lacrosse. Paul and Kitty have at various times been involved in several ministries at Saint Damian's Catholic Church, boy scouts and girl scouts. He is a mechanical engineer, maintaining registration as a professional engineer in all 50 states.
